This Wylde Life

Lone Rock Campground at Lake Powell is one of our ALLTIME favorite spots to camp and paddle after almost a year of fulltiming in our Airstream.

It doesn't get much better than having an opportunity to go paddle boarding on Lake Powell. The water is blue, the skies are clear, and you can cool off in the lake after a day in the sun.

When you're camping at Lone Rock, you will be on the sandy shores of Lake Powell, just a short walk down to the water. We'll share our adventures with you as we paddle Lake Powell, relax on the beach, and enjoy the sunsets.

Join us as we paddle up Antelope Creek and then hike into Antelope Canyon—a last minute decision that we made with no planning but turned out to be one of our favorite hikes ever!

We'll show you in the video how to find Antelope Creek, and the incredible slot canyon that you can hike into. Here's one tip: keep hiking until you hit a dead end! Most people turn around too soon, and end up missing the best parts of the slot canyon.

Let us know in the Comments if you have any questions, and tell us if you're planning to head to Lake Powell soon!

We also bring you tips on the best camping spots and hiking trails, RV life, lessons learned full timing, and more!

We use iRocker Sport paddle boards, but any iRocker SUP is a great choice! We chose the Sport because it has three fins for better tracking, bungee tie downs in the front, and Drings in the back. It's also a little narrower for faster paddling. Don't skip the electric pump—it's an armsaver and gets your board to the recommended 15 PSI (that's 20+ minutes of handpumping). https://bit.ly/3xHIyVh
