How to Pack CDs DVDs and Video Games

https://www.upack.com/articles/howto... If you own video games, DVDs, or CDs, it’s important to make sure you pack them properly for your upcoming move. Whether you have a large collection or a small one, this helpful tutorial will show you exactly how to pack your movies, video games, and music albums.

Here’s what you’ll need: one or more moving boxes, packing paper, tape, and a marker.

First, separate your CDs, DVDs, and video games into multiple short stacks (stacking them by case size will make it easier) so you can easily grab them and place them into the box.

Before you pack, line the box with packing paper to add extra cushion. Fold a few sheets of packing paper in half twice and place it inside the box.

Next, pack the items into the box spineup. We recommend packing largersized items first (like DVDs and video games) and smallersized items last (like CDS) to maximize space inside the box. As you pack, you may be able to add layers of stacks inside the box. If you’re able to layer items, add a sheet of packing paper in between each layer for extra protection.

Once the box is full, fill any gaps with crushed packing paper to keep everything in place. Then tape the box and write the contents on the outside of the box.
