Common mounting methods for Linear Actuators.
in this video we show you a couple of the most common ways in which a Linear Actuator is mounting using different bracket types. The most common method to mount your linear actuator is to use what is called the Clevis end mounting brackets. These common mounting methods consist of mounting the Brackets at each end of the linear actuator where both ends are free to rotate and pivot around the Clevis holes on each of the the actuator.

Do all Linear Actuators have Mounting Clevis bracket ends?

All the Linear Actuators ends are the same, they all have holes to slide a clevis Pin through with a mounting bracket. One of the Actuator also has a slot through the middle, this is in case you wish to connect the bracket to the center line of the Actuator.

What other ways are there to mount a Linear Actuator?

With Some Linear Actuators its possible to mount the linear actuator from the body. With these types of Brackets it simply slides over the main long body of the actuator and can be clamped into place.
