There is an update which makes it faster and easier if you want to know how to make White Background in Photoshop 2024. The Select Subject feature lets you select Cloud which gives you more detailed results for selecting a person or object. Then you can go into Select and Mask which gives you an option to better select the hair using the Refine Hair feature. Then you can make the background white or any color.
