If you have a cat or dog (or rabbit, ferret, snake... tarantula??), and struggle to get the perfect pic for a holiday or Christmas card, here's how I did it. Cats especially love boxes so mine just naturally went in. Then attract their attention with a treat or a toy or a laser pointer and be ready to get that perfect shot! (But if you have a very energetic pet like Kodi, you can't get them too excited as you'll see, LOL!) Then you can either print it out yourself or call you local print shop and send them the pic to do it for you. Whether you send it by email or the oldfashioned snail mail, your friends and family will love getting an adorable pic of your animal companions around the holidays.
And after you have the shot, leave that box out, of course. The Queen has claimed it for her own while the "Simpleton" dares to encroach on her royal grounds! (I swear a sitcom or comic strip could be made about these two with Shorty being the most bumbling Queen ever!)
Have a great month of December, everyone! Remember that if you're feeling lonely during this trying time, head to your local shelter because there's a little animal who needs you as much as you need them. Even if a cat or dog is too much, guinea pigs and other small animals make wonderful companions that you can interact and engage with to make your day more joyful and give you a sense of purpose at a time when we're not feeling much of either.
Much love and light and peace and purrs to all.
Rob
