Inspired by countless trips to Italy, I wanted to try to make my own homemade limoncello using vodka. It's so simple, and turned out so well, I don't think I will ever bother buying it again!

We used vodka, which was 40% alcohol, and it is recommended that 50% alcohol is actually better, so I will use that next time. But you definitely can get away with using regular vodka if that's all you have!
