Ep019. This time, Takesan will make Charsyu pork.
Charshu is a convenient ingredient that can be used in a variety of ways, such as as a topping for ramen and Donburi rice, or as a snack.
[RECIPE]
1. First, tie the pork with string so it does not lose shape.
A length of 1.5 m is sufficient for tying pork of this size.
2. Grill the pork until golden brown color. It takes about 10 minutes for the entire side to be browned.
3. Make the seasoning soup.
300 ml of water
50 ml of Japanese sake
100 ml of say sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
sliced garlic
sliced ginger
chopped green onion
4. Add the grilled pork into the soup and simmer for 50 min.
Turn over occasionally.
5. When the cooking soup liquid is reduced,
turn off the heat and let it cool naturally.
6. Cut the strings and serve.
