HOW TO MAKE BACON BACON RECIPE In this video recipe I will show you how to make bacon. Yes home made bacon from scratch.

Recipe :

Ingredients
When you use Pink Salt (insta cure #1) (6,25% nitrite)
1,5 kilo pork belly
45 gram seasalt
22,5 gram sugar
5 gram Pink Salt

When you use Colorozo Salt (0,6% nitrite)
1,5 kilo pork belly
50 gram Colorozo salt
22,5 gram sugar

How to make bacon:
Mix the salt and sugar
Rub the pork belly with the cure
Place the pork belly in a vacuum bag or a zip lock bag
Put the bag in the fridge and let it cure for 7 days
Flip the bag every other day
After 7 days rinse the pork belly with cold water
Smoke the pork belly with apple wood at 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Let the bacon cool down (okay, you can have a little taste test ;) )
Slice and for any purpose you like
