Years ago, flour was sold in cotton sacks printed with brightlycolored designs. When times were tough and fabric scarce, those sacks became dresses, curtains, quilts—even underwear!

This week, we’re using feedsackinspired prints, Wild Flour by Whistler Studios for Windham Fabrics, to recreate one of our favorite old fashioned quilts. Irish Chain is a 19th century classic made with simple ninepatches. Of course, Jenny makes it even easier with jelly roll strip sets and a charming cheater cloth backing!
