Have you ever wondered how to make an Elizabethan ruff (alternately known as a Tudor ruff or Jacobean ruff depending on the time period) for your dearly beloved pet?

Today I’ll very vaguely guide you through the process of DIYing your own pet ruff using whatever materials you have on hand. Because who wouldn’t want their animal (or themselves) to look like an oldtimey astronomer or a fancy aristocrat at a Tudor court.

These simple (but very vague) instructions on ruff making and some imagination are all you need to make your own Elizabethan ruff.
