I made this handy wooden hose holder from a 4' piece of 5/4" Ipe wood left over from a deck I built a few years ago. This is a pretty simple but satisfying woodworking project that will help get your garden hose organized and off the lawn. Be sure to predrill the screw holes when using Ipe or other dense hard woods to prevent your screws from breaking when assembling the hose holder. I've been using the lightweight zeroG Hose from Teknor Apex for the past few years and and am really satisfied with the performance and durability.
