Struggling to get better at colouring in? Today I'm going to show you my method of coloring to make your pages really pop and hopefully achieve a gorgeous 3D, painterly effect. It's not just colours which are important, but values too, and I'll be talking about that more in the video. I'll be using both alcohol markers and colored pencils but please note that you can skip the markers if you don't have them, and go straight in with the pencils.

PRISMACOLOR PENCILS ALL OF THE COLOURS I USED IN THE PICTURE:
Pinks: Pink, Deco Pink, Mahogany Red
Purples: Violet, Parma Violet, Amethyst (or discontinued Lilac)
Blues: Cerulean Blue, True Blue, NonPhoto Blue, Indanthrone Blue
Browns: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, Light Umber
Greys: Cool Grey in 70%, 50%, 30% and 20%
Greens: Dark Green and Grass Green, Olive Green and Apple Green, Limepeel and Chartreuse
