Hello, in this video I will show how I made a cassette recorder from a tape drive and a homemade preamp board. The head used is the simplest 4211. The preamplifier has very little noise and plays well. In the future I plan to make a fullfledged cassette deck with logical control and recording on a cassette. The preamplifier is powered by a switching power supply through an EVISUN A0512S2W boost converter. It converts from 5 volts to bipolar 12. But the first power supply did not fit very well, there were big power noises, I had to replace it with another one, it became much better, the power noise disappeared completely.
