Cats love all sorts of corners and shelters, especially if they're made of cardboard (perfect for some cat nail work). Here's a simple idea to reuse old soda boxes and create a cool cat resting spot.

VERY IMPORTANT: Make it yourself, but take care of your pet. Use nontoxic materials and never add any pieces that can easily detach. If you see your cat chewing cardboard, immediately remove the item from your pet’s environment.
