How to properly install a heat strip in a Rheem air handler, the heat strip being installed is a 10kw heat strip which has heat sequencers and thermos discs that work together to produce heat. This application is used in Southwest Florida with your typical air handler. It is always important to correctly connect the heat strip and to pay attention and avoid cutting any wires. With this type of heat strip it is a plug and play operation which makes it easier to connect. Also it is important to correctly connect your high voltage wires to avoid shorting out the heat strip.
