Hello and thank you for stopping by on our last video of the 4th gen 4Runner series. This is our front bumper cover install. Hopefully, you have installed all the bumper accessories to your awesome front bumper cover. As we mentioned before, we can't get enough of any 4Runner. Such a simply designed vehicle that lasts forever. It's honestly one of the easier vehicles to work on. We hope you get over that beginner's fear and install your front bumper cover. We'll definitely show you how in this stepbystep guide.

TOOLS NEEDED:
You will need a socket wrench with a 10mm socket, or a 10mm open wrench, and a flat head screwdriver.

INSTRUCTIONS:
This bumper install is one of the easy ones and we love it. Most vehicles from any manufacture will have the bumper foam piece that just sits on the bumper rebar/reinforcement. It likes to pop for no good reason, so we like to attach some 3M tape or painter's tape to secure it. The foam piece is designed to absorb impact, so the tape will not affect this. It will just give you a little helping hand. Once the foam piece is secure, you can start to install the front bumper cover. Remember to plug up the fog lights. You can do this from behind once the bumper is on but you don't have as much room or view working from the bottom. Once the fog lights are plugged in, line up the bumper under your headlights and gently push it in. The bumper will snap to brackets underneath the headlight and ultimately on the side of the fenders. Once the bumper is aligned, we like to secure it with the push pins on the top of the bumper, just in case the bumper falls off. At times the side brackets will give you some trouble but some gentle force can snap that bumper right in. Now you just have to secure the bottom of the bumper and the fender liners. Just a few bolts on the side of the fender liner including the 10mm bolt that holds the bumper to the fender. Probably one of the most important bolts, don't forget that one. Of course, all the bolts on the bottom of the bumper from end to end.

See, that wasn't so hard! We love the simplicity of the 4Runner front bumper cover. Very simple and quick job to do. We knew you had it in you to do this easy install.
