How To: Honda CRF300L/Rally H2C Rear Brake and Sprocket Covers

This video is the fitting of two covers, the H2C Cover for the rear brake master cylinder and the replacement cover for the front sprocket to a UK spec Honda CRF300 Rally. The parts of the bike involved are identical to the CRF300L, so this video also applies to the L.

These are official Honda H2C accessories and come from Thailand.

Part numbers are:
CRF300L/Rally H2C COVER DRIVE SPROCKET APK1TAL23800TA
CRF300L/Rally H2C RR BRAKE CYLINDER GUARD APK1TAL43540TA

NOTE: The sprocket guard needs a slight deviation from the instructions to get it to fit due to the extra guard on the gear position sensor. This is explained in the video

00:00 Introduction
00:32 Sprocket cover removal
01:41 H2C Sprocket cover change for UK Spec bikes
02:43 Fitting H2C Sprocket Cover
04:00 Fitting H2C Rear Brake Cover

Thanks,

You may have noticed that the gear lever changes in the video. It was supposed to include how to swap out the gear and rear brake levers, however the AS3 rear brake lever I have for a CRF250L doesn't fit the CRF300L/Rally. The gear lever fits just fine. When I have a rear brake lever that fits, I'll record that fitting. Until then, apologies for the slightly random edits. It will be better next time!
