Lions Mane (aka Hericium erinaceus) grows on hardwood substrate. Here is the recipe I use:

For every 5 lb fruiting block, use:

5 cups hardwood fuel pellets
1.25 cups Wheat Bran
1.4 liters of water

Sterilize for 2.5 hours at 15 PSI
