Applying for the NonLucrative Visa for Spain isn’t easy. It takes a while to get all of the documents you need to apply, and the process of getting your appointment can be confusing and frustrating.

So to help you out, we share our experience applying for the NLV at the Los Angeles Consulate, including how long it took us to get all the paperwork, how much our NLV cost, some of the snags we hit along the way, advice for getting your appointment, and how long it took for us to apply and eventually get approved for our 1year visa to Spain.
