Here is my in depth video on ideas about how to get into taxidermy or how to learn taxidermy!
1. Formal Training taxidermy schools, taxidermy classes
2. Apprenticeship learn by work experience
3. DIY “Selftaught” learn at home via DVD’s/books/Youtube and research
I recommend a combination of all 3 and never limit yourself to just one!
My three additional tips:
1. Join your state taxidermy association meet other taxidermists, attend seminars, compete in competitions
2. The Internet www.taxidermy.net and Facebook groups, and YouTube are great resources and google!
3. Check regulations, know your laws wildlife is a managed resource and you never want to be breaking the law
