Hey guy's R4GE VipeRzZ here, and today I'm going to show you how you can wipe / eraise / zero a drive so that file recovery software can't retrive the data off it.

In order to do this we will be using a program called DBAN. With DBAN once a drive has been wiped with it, it will be signifficantly for difficult for data to be recovered from a drive. This is useful if for example you want to sell a drive or give one to someone else, without the significant risk a someone else been able to recover the data that was on the drive.
