We've been remodeling an old building for our new office & shop, and we are finally going to pour our stamped concrete porch and patio.

We prepped the ground with a gravel base, formed the pad with 1/4" slope on it and installed 3/8" rebar for reinforcement.

The next day poured the concrete. We added sand buff integral color to the concrete truck, but we also broadcast color hardener on the surface. We used a wood plank stamped pattern on our patio and a flagstone stamped pattern on our porch.

Once the concrete had cured, we stripped the forms and stamped the sides of the concrete. We mixed color hardener with water/resin/polymer and applied it to the sides of the concrete. Then we stamped the sides with the texture skins, and created grout lines with an stool.

I came back the next day and washed all of the color release agent off of the surface. I also sprayed a water/muriatic acid solution on the surface to help me to remove as much release agent as I could.

We let the concrete dry overnight and then we applied a solvent based clear sealer on all of the concrete.
