I made a video showing how to repair a broken fitting on a hydraulic cylinder. Most common breaks are on excavators and skid loaders. Buying a new one can be upwards of $500 dollars. This fix is easy to do if you have a welder and a angle grinder.
I keep stock fittings for making hoses, but you can buy these at Advance auto parts, NAPA, O'Reilly Auto Parts and many others.

Don't mind the welds... Not the best. I was trying to hurry and make the video. Most of my other ones do not look like that! HAHA.

Please don't weld after cleaning parts with Brake Cleaner. Only use after you are completely finished as vapors may decompose to harmful or fatal corrosive gases such as hydrogen chloride and possibly phosgene.
