If you replaced a part on your Whirlpool, Maytag or Amana Washer, you need to run a calibration cycle on the unit. But while you're in the "Secret" diagnostics mode, there are a lot of extra, hidden features you may not know about. You can test components as well to see if a part is going bad. But to do that, you need to bypass the lid lock to see inside! This video will show you how to do all of this. Timestamps for each thing are included in the video.

Enter diagnostics to do a lot of important features
Check Whirlpool Washer Error Codes
Do a Whirlpool Washer ReCalibration
Test Each Part and Cycle in the Whirlpool Washer Troubleshooting mode(s)
Bypass the Lid Lock (kindof) to watch the drum move and operate to verify it works

P.S. These commands generally work on any Whirlpoolmade device including Whirlpool, Kenmore, Amana, Roper, Admiral, Maytag and probably a few others (but not GE or Hotpoint!)
