In this tutorial I'll give suggestions for the best yarn for beginners as well as crochet hook. There are several ways to hold a crochet hook. I’ll show you two common methods. At the end you will learn how to make a quick, easy, and simple cloth.

The first stitch in crochet called a slip knot. Afterwards you will learn how to make a chain, which occurs in just about every crochet pattern. I'll discuss some of the abbreviations we use in crochet.. For example, you will see a crochet chain abbreviated as CH.

Next you will learn how to make a single crochet stitch (SC). This stitch is probably the simplest one in crochet. You'll learn how to turn your work once you get to the end of a row. And I'll show some tips and tricks for finishing your work and weaving in ends.

Most people, including myself, find both crochet and knitting be a stress reliever. I hope you enjoy!
