Hi Viewers. In this episode i will be demonstrating on How to clean your Throttle body of a Honda CRV RE1 Engine R20a1. This method requires to take apart the Air intake components to access the Throttle body assembly off the engine.

Tools needed :
Chemical spray (carbon cleaner)
Socket 12mm
Screw driver
Long nose pliers
½ “ Ratchet drive
Old Rag to wipe
Old Tooth brush

Additional note : Best to use new gasket replacement ( I am re using old gasket for this purpose video ) and retighten TB bolts criss cross pattern using torque wrench to 16 18ft lbs .

If your car idle incorrectly please do Idle relearn process:
1. Disconnect negative battery for 10 mins then reconnect the battery.
2. Put the car key on ACC for 2 seconds
3. Start the car up and press the gas pedal to 3000rpm for 5 10 mins (until both radiator fans comes on).
4. Release gas pedal and let it idle for 2 mins . Shut off engine .
5. Restart engine as per normal .

Effect and advantages :
Better throttle response , better fuel economy , better airflow .
