The solution to pollution is dilution! Did you know that tap water is just as effective as sterile wash or saline for cleaning a dog's wound? Skip the hydrogen peroxide and opt for copious amounts of water instead. Here are the key points covered in the video:

1⃣ Avoid using hydrogen peroxide and opt for flushing the wound with water, tap water has been shown to be just as good.

2⃣ For dirty wounds, consider using a mild soap or chlorhexidine wash which is used in veterinary hospitals for sterile surgical cleaning.

3⃣ For minor cuts, manuka honey or normal honey can prevent infection and encourage healing.

It's crucial to seek veterinary care for extensive or deep wounds, and always wear gloves to prevent introducing any infection. Cover the wound with a nonstick dressing and wrap, ensuring it's not too tight.
