I have read that dragon fruit plants can live long (30 to 40 years) so choose materials for your trellis system that will last long as well. Hopefully this video will help you in choosing the best type of tire. Heavier tires (cruiser bike) will probably last longer than lighter tires (sport bike). Newer tires will probably last longer than older/used tires. You can get these tires from tire recyclers for about $3 each.
