The Oregon Department of Revenue partnered with Laura Kardokus, executive director of the Oregon Board of Tax Practitioners to share tips on how to choose a tax practitioner.
Filers can choose a licensed tax practitioner, a certified public accountant (CPA), or an attorney to prepare their taxes. It is important to “do your homework” when choosing someone to prepare taxes and several resources linked below are available to help taxpayers choose a qualified, licensed practitioner.
