*UPDATE AS OF 5/19/2020 AMD just announced that they WILL be adding support for 4000series CPUs to B450 and X470 motherboards. They will need to set up a 1way BIOS upgrade that will drop support for some 1stgen Ryzen CPUs, and details are still forthcoming, but it's great news!*
