We 'celebrate' the 24th of April every year as the Sri Sathya Sai Aradhana Mahotsavam. What is the meaning of 'Aradhana' that makes it a 'Mahotsavam' (grand festival)? The insightful experiences of Prof Nanjundaiah and Mr. Ramakrishna Reddy make it clear what 'Aradhana' (devoted worship) is not! Then, the stories of Sugriva and Shabari from the Ramayana give us the clear distinction between emotion and devotion. We understand how Shraddha (Faith) and Saburi (Perseverance) are absolutely necessary for Aradhana or worship.

A personal experience during Guru Poornima 2009 which is close to my heart shows how Swami is happy with loyalty and how we get rewarded with the divine 'loyalty points'.

This is a Satsangh originally delivered to devotees at the Sathya Sai Center of Northeast Atlanta on the 20th of April, 2024.
