Using the New York Subway? How about the NYC bus (MTA bus) or Roosevelt Island tram or the JFK Airport AirTrain? You can use your MTA MetroCard for all these along with other public transportation systems. Like the New York subway, buying, reloading and using the New York MetroCard has its own learning curve as well. In this video, we will talk about what exactly does the New York MetroCard pay for, how to buy and reload a MetroCard, and the phasing out of the MetroCard and moving on to using the OMNY (One Metro New York). We will also look at the user interface of the MTA MetroCard machines and guide you through the stepbystep process of buying and reloading your MetroCard.
