Total cost: $700800 (without motor and accessories, and it mainly depends on the cost of wood)
Took me about A month. Worked on it mostly in the weekend.
(design took a large amount of time)

Total budget of this project: about $700800 (only the boat, excluding motor and battery)
wood: (all pressured treated)
2"X4"X10' 4 pcs
2"X4"X8" 9 pcs (or more)
5/4"X6"X8 25 pcs
Screws:
10X 3" 60+pcs, 10X3.5" 60+pcs, 10X2.5" 200+pcs
Bolts and Nuts:
5.5"long, 5/16" thick, about 20 pairs(it's used to bind outer layer wood & post to the frame)
55 gal Water barrel:
at least 6. do 8 if you want to make a longer boat.
if you live near Houston, you can get cheap barrel through the following url:
https://houston.craigslist.org/spo/d/...
(if the url expires, you can visit www.HoustonBarrels.com)
Plastic pipe hanger Strap (you can use metal ones instead)
https://www.homedepot.com/p/34inx...
Large Hard plastic sheet:
sorry I don't know where you can buy those, I just happen to get two of them.
if you can't find plastic sheets, you can get more barrels and use them as plastic sheet.
Optional: Some metal braces, if you want to reinforce your frame.
