A severely deteriorating, asphalt parking lot on the Euclid Chemical campus in Cleveland, Ohio provided the perfect opportunity to conduct highperformance, fiberreinforced concrete trial. What began as replacing an asphalt lot with standard, plain concrete turned into an experimental project featuring four separate concrete mix designs with variables of TUFSTRAND SF (TSSF), TSSF with Eucon SRA, TSSF with Conex and a combination all three products. Compressive cylinders, flexural beams, plates and shrinkage samples on all pads were prepared and are being tested and monitored in our laboratory. Joint width measurements of the field pavement sections are now underway and will be monitored over the next full year and compared to laboratory results, correlated with exposure conditions.
