Fireplace Mantel | Modern Fireplace with Tile …Our outdated fireplace mantle was in need of an upgrade! Because the fireplace is the focal point of our openconcept home, we really wanted it to have this fresh, new, and modern feel. I designed a custom fireplace mantle and added a classic herringbone tile surround. Finally, with a fresh coat of paint, our fireplace transformed into a beautiful modern farmhouse centerpiece!
