Note about the tape: The VHB tape I used for this project was CV62f and CV45F. It is very expensive, upwards of $100 per roll at most places I found. I ended up purchasing it from SRISupplies.com for about $50/per roll.. which was the best price I found anywhere. I paid full price and did not get a discount but just wanted to mention it in case anyone is looking for it and haven't found a good affordable source for it :)
