In late October I went on a self planned solo day trip to Nikko. As it was a last minute decision, I did not have time to do much planning and thus much of my time there was spent on waiting and transport. I also spent a lot of time trying to understand the Nikko passes, limited express tickets, the layout of Nikko and the buses etc. So I hope this video can be useful to first time traveller to Nikko.
