LPN stands for licensed practical nurse. LPNs are also called LVNs in some areas, which stands for licensed vocational nurse.

If you want to work as a nurse, becoming an LPN is one of the fastest ways you can do it!

In this video, Nurse Sarah explains how to become an LPN or LVN nurse. Generally, you'll have to attend an approved LPN program, which takes around 12 years in the U.S.

Once you graduate from the program, you'll get a certificate or diploma, and you'll be eligible to sit for the NCLEXPN exam. Once you pass the NCLEX, you'll be licensed and can practice as an LPN.
