In this video I show you how to apply a beautifully smooth coat of poly by hand. I start off with a trick that I and many others use where we apply the first coat or two with sandpaper to help fill in the pores in the wood. After that it's a pretty simple process. I'm using wipeon poly for this piece because it goes on nice and thin.
