Native Spanish Speakers in my experience, will ask you these questions the most when they first meet you.

Being able to understand these is important but you also need to learn how to respond to these in order to start a basic conversation.

The most IMPORTANT thing however especially if you're living in a non Spanish speaking country, is to introduce yourself in Spanish, whenever you meet a native speaker!!!!

You'll mess up & your mind will go blank numerous times as has been the case with myself but these are necessary steps in order to improve.
