When Pokemon Scarlet and Violet came out I decided I wanted to be one of the first people to ever complete the Pokedex. This is the story of that speedrun.

Run started just after 10 am EST on November 17th (JP eShop release) and finished at 5:58 pm EST on November 20th. There is only one known recorded pokedex completion (excluding leaks) that finished before this by    / @astelleda   . That run uses online trading with others for version exclusives making it the first coop completion. My run, however, is entirely solo and all Violet version exclusives were caught on stream by me using a second switch before being traded to Scarlet, making my run the first solo Pokedex completion.
