Keep in mind that this project was by no means about creating a professional quality table. This particular table is the only one I have ever made, for my own beginner training purposes.
The table bed is made of 35mm MDF (medium density fiberboard).
As long as you build a rock solid, wide (as close to the edge as possible) flat base underneath, the MDF will stay straight, and no problems will occure.

Costs: Somewhere between five and seven hundred Euro.
Time consumed on project: 23 weeks
