When I came up with the idea for the Goin' FORE! It challenge to go from nongolfer to breaking 80 outside in one year by only learning on a simulator, I knew I would have to create a space that I would want to spend countless hours in. Because I wanted to document the journey, the simulator had to also double as a professional studio.

After almost a year of research, I knew that AboutGOLF had the technology I needed to learn the complete game of golf to have the best chance at hitting my goal, but since my space was a bit too narrow for their luxury set up, I chose the next best route, I went to Carl's Place, Home Depot, and Joanne Fabrics and built my own luxury simulator.

This was a huge project. I had to build a shed and transform my tandem garage space from a bike shop/storage area into what is now the Goin' FORE! It Sim Studio. I did all the work myself to save my budget for golf lessons.
