How High Can You Jump on Other Worlds

Follow
Mr Scientific

Earth.
A normal person can jump about 1.6 feet this would take no more than 1 second.

Mars.
On Mars you can jump roughly 3 feet off the ground and stay in the air for about 2 seconds.

Moon.
Moon's gravity is only 17% of Earth's. You could jump about 10 feet on Moon and stay off the ground for 4 seconds.

Pluto..
Pluto's gravity is only 6% of Earth's. A good hop would send you about 25 feet in the air and let you enjoy the view for 910 seconds.

Saturn's moon Enceladus.
Jumping on Enceladus would be super fun. You would rise up into atmosphere 145 feet, the trip would take a full minute.

Comet 67P..
If you jumped from 67P, you will never return you'd just float off into the void of space.
