Frankenstein has transformed massively over time, going from a troubled scientist in Mary Shelley’s original novel to the groaning green beast we know today. But how did this happen? Today, I analyze major adaptations of Frankensteinfrom Universal's 1931 film, to Young Frankenstein to Frankenweenie in order to trace this novel's journey to becoming a modern myth.
