How do you soundproof a room from noisy upstairs Neighbours?

Do you have noisy neighbour living above you?

1. Check your walls by doing the ear on the wall test

2. If you do not hear the noisy neighbours upstairs, by putting your ear on your walls of your flat, then you are good to install a ceiling system to the direct noise path of the ceiling.

3. If you hear the noise down the walls then consider applying sound insulation to the wall as well as the ceiling.
