Angela Alsobrooks reflected on a decisive victory in the Democratic U.S. Senate primary that left political analysts puzzled over how she managed to change the trajectory of the race in a matter of weeks. Alsobrooks' campaign headquarters was filled with boxes of extra Tshirts, bundles of lawn signs and very few people as a testament to her victory Tuesday. Despite the win, Alsobrooks remains hard at work, engaging in an afternoon blitz of interviews with the media. The primary battle was long and bitter, but it ended in a decisive win for the 53yearold nominee. An early call of the race by the Associated Press surprised some political experts.
