A pressure gauge is a device that measures the pressure of a fluid in a system, the fluid can be a gas or a liquid. A Bourdon tubetype pressure gauge is a mechanical pressuremeasuring instrument that operates without electricity. There are various types of pressure gauges that use different principles for sensing pressure. The Cshaped Bourdon tube type is the most common one.

In this 3D animation video, we will be looking at the key external components in order to understand how the mechanism inside the pressure gauge works.
