If your hot water heater has no spark at all, or the flame isn't staying on, give this video a watch for a couple super simple things to try. Repairing your hot water heater ignitor could be as simple as reconnecting the ignition wire, cleaning the ignitor, or removing the burner and rubbing the exposed ignition wire with some sandpaper or emery cloth.
