Horton the elephant accidentally discovers the tiny town of Whoville, home to the microscopic Whos. The town of Whoville and the entire Who world exists on what to appears to Horton to be a speck of dust.  The Who world is in danger and Horton takes on the responsibility of taking care of it even though noone at first believes that Whoville or the Whos exist.
